“We first came across Elise's work at a small exhibition for local artists in St Albans. We wandered in to have a browse and were both struck by this painting of a woman covering her eyes. It was simple, black and white tones, but seemed to convey so much emotion. We couldn't leave without it.”

“These two in particular have become very important to me over lockdown. I have my temporary home office on the landing so we put these on the stairs to act as windows to an exotic outside that would otherwise seem so far away right now. Every time I pause during my working day I can look up and immediately feel like I'm a million miles away and that escapism has been invaluable.

It has been a pleasure getting to know Elise over the past couple of years and our home is a better place for having her work in it. We are really pleased we walked into that exhibition in St Albans!”
