Exhibiting is still very new for me, but is something that I have loved so far and look forward to in the future.
My first exhibition took place last September at The New Artist Fair at The Old Truman Brewery.
What a great experience! I met some lovely artists, got my feel for exhibiting and learned what I needed to do to set up a successful space.
Then came ArtRooms Roma! I was delighted to be accepted into this exhibition, both because it’s in one of my favourite cities AND because I found out that over 1000 people applied!
I spent a lot of time planning my art, getting everything ready, shipping my paintings to Rome…and then I was ready.
Speaking to so many interesting people about my work was such a great way to learn about what I am trying to say as an artist.
I absolutely loved taking part in ArtRooms Roma, and would love to do it all over again.
The next after that was an exhibition called ‘Dreams’ at the Old Biscuit Factory.
I exhibited a new series of work there to great reception.
I am also privileged to have other pieces exhibited in Venice, Salerno, Rome, and New York – sadly I can’t be at all of them, but hopefully people are receiving the pieces well.
Watch this space for what’s coming next!
